About Me

Born in the Bronx, New York, Jalen fell in love with writing at a young age and leveraged it to inform and entertain others. At Haverford College, he majored in English to develop his skills in creative storytelling and effective communication. Through his early career and extracurricular experiences, he has expanded his abilities in video production, project management, and leadership.

While the fields I’ve worked in thus far range greatly—from art to sports to law and policy— commitment to XXX lies at the heart of all. I seek to highlight diverse identities, complex histories, and unique intersections through compelling storytelling, then leverage and reasons to engage with stories beyond recreation and entertainment.

Jalen would best describe himself as opportunistic, dependable, and detail-oriented. He meets every challenge with relentless resilience and takes pride in being adaptable to new responsibilities.

In his free time, Jalen roots for New York sports teams, binges sitcoms and dramedies, and makes his way through an ever-growing list of book recommendations.
